Cara is a dobby weave fabric with excellent acoustic properties. It has the look and feel of wool in a synthetic composition, with select colourways containing 4 – 20% post-industrial recycled content from our polypropylene production.
It is acoustically transparent, making it ideal as a decorative face textile, together with sound absorbing substrates, on walls and panels.
Cara meets strict fire-retardancy standards, including:
- BS 476 Part 7 Class 1
- BS EN 1021 – 1:1994 (cigarette)
- EN 13501-1 Adhered Class B, s2, d0
This ensures it is safe for use in public and commercial spaces.
